MWT is an independent not-for-profit organisation, working closely with a number of other organisations, businesses and suppliers.
Visit Wales
Visit Wales is the national tourism team of Welsh Government. For a number of years we have been successful in securing funding administered by Visit Wales (e.g. RTEF and TIPF grants) to deliver destination marketing campaigns for the Mid Wales region. We do not, however, receive funding to support our core activities.
We work closely with the team at Visit Wales to ensure our Visit Mid Wales marketing activity dovetails with national marketing campaigns.
We are currently providing Welsh language helpdesk support for businesses in Wales to update their listings on the national Visit Wales website.
We are also working with Visit Wales to promote opportunities with TXGB.

Wales Tourism Alliance
We are proud members of the Wales Tourism Alliance. WTA and its members provide a collective voice to put forward the views of the industry to Welsh Government and beyond. The WTA is widely recognised as the voice of the tourism industry in Wales.

Representation
Part of our role at MWT is to represent the tourism industry at a regional and national level. We do this on a number of regional and national fora including Wales Tourism Alliance, Wales Cross Party Group on Tourism and Mid Wales Regional Tourism Forum and Growing Mid Wales Forum. We are also members of the Mid and North Powys Destination Network.

Purchasing for Business brings MWT Cymru members great savings on a wide range of products & services, including business energy bills. It is completely FREE to join for all current members of MWT Cymru.
Project Partners
We have worked with a number of different partners over the years on various projects and campaigns. For example, our live streaming campaign. As well as working with Visit Wales, who streamed two live events to their social media followers, providing us with some fantastic coverage for the Mid Wales region; other partners on the project included RSPB Cymru, National Trust Cymru, Hafren Dyfrdwy and Natural Resources Wales.
